I need some advice.
We currently host a Microsoft terminal server farm, with a pair of Cisco
11503 CSS (Content Switch) devices acting as front end load balancers.=20
As part of the Cisco config, we need to set up an RDP keepalive, whereby
the CSS boxes send a short RDP request to each terminal server, and
listen for an RDP reply indicating that TS services are running
correctly on the box. In this way - we can be sure that the CSS only
pass clients to TS (blades) that can definitely provide sessions.=20
So I need to understand what mechanisms exist within RDP for a client
to determine whether a server is offering RDP sessions.
Can anyone help - or point me in the right direction ?=20
