There was some magic that we had to add to get the capability handshake working between Windows and pcsc-lite, but I think everything should be in place for this to work. Hi, Anand If your pinpad device is pcsc compat and supported by opensc this should not be a problem. It also depends on the smart card driver used on the server. For example the Microsoft PIV minidriver does not understand that the Omnikey 3821 has a pinpad. (Either when used directly on W7 or via rdesktop.) OpenSC PKCS11 when used from FireFox on Windows does use the pin pad reader. But when trying the 3821 via rdesktop-1.8.0 from Ubuntu to Windows 7, things may partially work, with or without the pin pad feature, with the either the Microsoft PIV mini driver or OpenSC. So try and configure rdesktop with the debugging options, and run pcscd -f -d -a to see what commands are being sent to the reader. On Windows the certutil -scinfo -v command is helpful, as are the OpenSC opensc-tool and pkcs11-tool > > Regards, > > Henrik Andersson > > On 06/21/2013 07:31 PM, Anand Renju wrote: >> Hi, >> >> Does the latest rdesktop support the redirection of PinPad smart card >> readers? >> >> Thanks, >> -Anand >> >> >> >> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >> This SF.net email is sponsored by Windows: >> >> Build for Windows Store. >> >> http://p.sf.net/sfu/windows-dev2dev >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> rdesktop-devel mailing list >> rde...@li... >> https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/rdesktop-devel > > > -- > --- > Henrik Andersson > Cendio ABhttp://cendio.com > Teknikringen 8http://twitter.com/ThinLinc > 583 30 Linköpinghttp://facebook.com/ThinLinc > Phone: +46-13-214600http://plus.google.com/112509906846170010689 > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Introducing Performance Central, a new site from SourceForge and > AppDynamics.
