Bugs item #2803448, was opened at 2009-06-09 13:41 Message generated for change (Comment added) made by stridger You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=381347&aid=2803448&group_id=24366 Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: Authentication Group: None Status: Open Resolution: Duplicate Priority: 2 Private: No Submitted By: Till Haselmann (ilpssun) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Can't connect to Win Server 2008: "internal license error" Initial Comment: When I try to connect to the Windows Server 2008 SP 2, the connection is immediately disconnected with an "internal license error". Maybe this is part of the lacking RDP 6 support in rdesktop? If I remeber correctly, this worked well with the pre-SP2 version of Windows Server 2008. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Waldemar Schlackow (stridger) Date: 2009-06-09 20:17 Message: This only solves the issue temporarily for me. On next reconnect I get the same error again and have to wipe the license file again. Also it's not possible to drop back to RDPv4 as then the error is: ERROR: channel_register WARNING: Initializing sound-support failed! X Error of failed request: BadAtom (invalid Atom parameter) Major opcode of failed request: 23 (X_GetSelectionOwner) Atom id in failed request: 0x0 Serial number of failed request: 55 Current serial number in output stream: 55 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Till Haselmann (ilpssun) Date: 2009-06-09 13:45 Message: Ok, I just resolved the issue. It seems that rdesktop had stored an invalid license file in ~/.rdesktop/license*. It worked well after removing that file. Category: Project Home Page Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: disk short cut mappings Initial Comment: Hi it would be nice to have the ability to have disk/folder shortcuts to the local machine when logged unto the remote machine instead of having to browse to the /media folder on ubuntu. Also disk refreshing on the remote computer does not work 100%. I noticed this while remoting into my laptop and using Photoshop to save a JPEG image. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=381350&aid=2803332&group_id=24366 |
