The nodepad was a typo in my email... my bad. Looks like this is a limitation of the XP session paradigm. I tried loging out and running the command again, but still am getting a = full desktop. Maybe there some basic thing i'm not doing right. Do we know if this is known to work for other XP folks ? Is that a limitation of XPpro ? Since XP is limited to one session, it only regards the alternate shell = if=20 no session is running. So, log out before connecting. If this doesn't help, verify if seamlessrdpshell is running, via the = task=20 manager.
