Hello, Whenever I run rdesktop (v1.2) it fails with the error: "ERROR: Less than 8 bpp not currently supported." however I am running in 32 bits. To get some insight I added some output code in xwin.c and it worked. All I did was put in a series of printf's as an else for the conditional at line 284. For what its worth the output was: i: 6; pfm[i].depth: 32; depth: 24; pfm[i].bits_per_pixel: 32; bpp: 0 i: 4; pfm[i].depth: 16; depth: 24; pfm[i].bits_per_pixel: 16; bpp: 32 i: 3; pfm[i].depth: 15; depth: 24; pfm[i].bits_per_pixel: 16; bpp: 32 i: 2; pfm[i].depth: 8; depth: 24; pfm[i].bits_per_pixel: 8; bpp: 32 i: 1; pfm[i].depth: 4; depth: 24; pfm[i].bits_per_pixel: 8; bpp: 32 i: 0; pfm[i].depth: 1; depth: 24; pfm[i].bits_per_pixel: 1; bpp: 32 The diff is: 287a288,291 > else > { > printf("i: %i; pfm[i].depth: %i; depth: %i; pfm[i].bits_per_pixel: %i; bpp: %i\n",i,pfm[i].depth,depth,pfm[i].bits_per_pixel,bpp); > } My system is an 800mhz Athlon with an ati Radeon VE running SuSE 8.2.
