RCML works!

Increment 3 has been completed and released as version 0.50. This increment adds the ability to check into and out of an RCML repository, making rcml a (somewhat) usable source code control system! Increment 4 is scheduled to add branching capabilities.

Increment 2: XML interface (release 0.25)

Increment 2's analysis was completed week before last; design was completed in the middle of last week, and the coding was completed this week (almost completely finished last week, with a few small bugs). This release can create an Archive object in C++ from a suitably-constrained RCML archive file, as well as writing out such an Archive to disk.

Incremental development model

The rcml project has adopted an incremental development model. We will divide into two groups, and each group will perform a complete analysis, design, and coding job on an increment of functionality.

There is an increment due each Saturday beginning October 14. The project should be finished the week of Thanksgiving.
