[rcml-devel] Pronunciation of Xerces

  For those of you who've been wondering, I recommend pronouncing
Xerces as "Zuhrkzeez."  There was a Persian king in the ancient world
named Xerxes, and that is how I was taught to say his name.  (He was
also known as Ahasuerus, which is apparently another way of
transliterating the same Persian name into English.)

  Xerces is named for the Xerces butterfly.  I have no idea if the
butterfly was named for the Persian king.  I have no idea what the
Xerces butterfly looks like or where it lives.
