A way to change X and Y sensitivity and acceleration
directly in this gui would be great for hardcore gamers
like me. Thanks for your work.

I can add options for the acceleration fairly easily, but
X/Y sensitivity is going to be more complicated, due to the
way Linux is set up - It will either require some supreme
    hacking, or custom HID drivers.
My current plan on this is to implement X/Y sensitivity in
my custom firmware so custom drivers aren't needed.

I can ask our kernel hackers if anything could be done without reimplementing the rest of HID code involved. Interested?

BTW zinx, did you see these?

PS: thanx for xmms too, I'm packaging it for ALT Linux for several years and it _still_ rocks! (even with a boatload of patches ;-)

It can be done in the kernel (by altering the overall mouse support, or the HID drivers specificly), or in applications that read the mouse device (i.e., X.org), or in the mouse's firmware.

I don't see the either of the first two happening, but if you think you can manage to convince the kernel or X.org developers to accept a patch, feel free to try. The X.org devs may be more open to it.

would really be nice to set different x and y axis sensitivity
