I just got a habu, and quickly tried razertool. But, it doesn't work on mine. (i'm using 0.7). The first thing i noticed is that the usb product id is different for mine than the code expected (mine is 0x00fb).
After updating that, it gets farther, but razertool-gtk immediately displays a "broken pipe" error.
Any ideas or things i can do to help?

The newer habu firmware versions are already supported AFAIK; and I've been sent the 1.00 firmware and will implement support for that as soon as I have the time.

As far as I know, yes. I've heard mixed responses from various firmware versions, so I assume some may want to stick to 1.00, so I will eventually support that at some point. razertool definitely works with the version of the habu firmware that comes with the 2.10 drivers. You can flash it with either the official tool or razerflash.

Which firmware version is on your Habu?
this give you what you need?
ken@ken-desktop:~/tmp/razertool-0.0.7$ sudo razertool -i
DEVICE: 1532:00fb
razer_HABU_read_firmware_version:razer_CH_read:2
razer_HABU_read_firmware_version:version:0x64 0x00
Firmware version: 1.00
that's with razertool changed to support the product id of my devices.

Can you dump the firmware and send it to me?
sudo razerflash -d > habu100.s19
It'll take a while, so be patient.
Hello thank you for razertool !
I have a friend who will only get Linux when he will have razertool for his habu...
Please can you support habu ?!

You confused me on that response... are you saying the firmware on the HABU I have (1.0, which doesn't work) is old?
just want to be clear.... is it possible i can update my firmware and get functional?
thanks!
