i'm using razertool with zenwalk (slackware linux) and it works great. actually i'm the maintainer of zenwalks razertool-package and therefore i have the following questions:
1) will there be any updates to razertool in future?
2) how about the dependencies? i couldn't find out anything yet. 'requiredbuilder' gives me these
1) Yes, but there isn't much to do at the moment apart from update for older Habu firmwares. Support for other Razer mice will require information I don't yet have.
2) Most of those things seem to be dependencies of other things that razertool depends on - some of them are not required. Additionally, the commandline client doesn't depend on most of that even optionally.
razertool/razerflash (command line) depends on:
Standard C stuff (obviously)
libusb >= 0.1.0
razertool-gtk depends directly on (and does not use anything else directly):
Standard C stuff (again...)
libusb >= 0.1.0
gtk+ >= 2.8.0
rsvg >= 2.0.0
cairo >= 1.0.0
rsvg/cairo are for drawing the main window, and could be made optional (but they aren't optional for razertool-gtk currently)
