Rateamp just smashed its own database file (*.dat). Winamp took 1.3GB ram at this startup and rateamp showed me an alert box:

A new Database-File would be created.
Error while loading database:
%s
Zu wenig Arbeitsspeicher)

Last line in english: There is too little ram

The time i quit winamp before was a normal shutdown (as always). I dont know how this file got corrupted as i dont know when rateamp writes on it but it would be great to see a save write feature in one of the next versions which could work like this:
Save the database:
1. save the database to a NEW file e.g. "database_new.dat"
2. validate the new file
3. delete the old file e.g. "database.dat"
4. rename the new fil from "database_net.dat" to "database.dat"

Regards,
Kjartan

PS: After the alert, rateamp created a new database file and tryed to import from the old file, the new file takes 1.495 MB !!! and has some curious entries (no file name but a crazy score (2000+)

OS: Win7 x64
