Hello! I love Raspicam right now as it is truly the fastest way to get images into OpenCV. I am using a 640x480 resolution together with grayscale (Y) channel for very rapid transfer to OpenCV. The problem is that I want to have the whole field of view and so I need to use the Still mode. I noticed that setting grayscale mode in still mode doesn't work. I looked at the code and it seems it isn't implemented. As I have no real experience with MMAL I though maybe this can be done by the Raspicam devs.
Also, how about the 60/90 fps modes?
I basically don't need a lot of fps, but I need low motion-blur. So my idea is to set high framerate, but retrieve only few times a second (5 for example). Would that be possible? I tried messing with exposition, but it doesn't seem to really change anything.
