Exposure control in raspicam_still_cv

Hi - I am using raspicam_still_cv and have found that the exposure seems to be fixed after an initial image is captured by the camera, until the program is quit and restarted. And exposure related code is commented out in raspicam_still_cv.cpp. Is this something that is going to be improved soon, or am I better off switching to using raspicam_cv instead?
Also I forgot to include the version I am using is V0.1.3.
