I recently purchased a fxo / fxs module compatible with raspberry! They provide a version of freepbx for raspberry already with kernel compiled to support the module, but it does not work after the update through "raspbx-upgrade".
Would it be possible to include the code natively in the raspbx firmware, so that it will not crash after being updated? I do not have enough knowledge to recompile kernel ...

I think it's a breakthrough not to need adapters to use fxo / fxs in raspberry!

So far the SwitchPi team has neither released their hardware drivers with an open source licence, nor did they publish installation instructions along with their drivers. They only offer a modified version of RasPBX as a complete bundle. But maybe the situation changes one day...

And recompiling the kernel implies loosing what's done after most relevant system updates!
