    Installing upgrade 6.

Upgrade of Asterisk 1.8 to version 1.8.20.0, fixes DoS vulnerability
issues. This upgrade is only for users of Asterisk 1.8.

This upgrade replaces your current Asterisk with version 1.8.20.0.
It is highly recommended to make a complete backup of your SD card before
running this upgrade. You can cancel the upgrade now and run it again
    later if you like.

    You have 3 options:
    1) Run the upgrade now.
    2) Do not upgrade now, please ask me again later.
    3) Skip this upgrade completely and never ask me again.
    Your choice [1/2/3]: 1

    Asterisk is not starting now.
    How can I reverse this?

You could try to reinstall Asterisk 13 with

    apt-get purge asterisk13
    apt-get install asterisk13

Then press the red Apply button in FreePBX.

Thank you so much - Gernot
After running those commands I rebooted as the GUI still showed "cannot connect to Asterisk"
After coming back it had some scary looking mysql error
I then ran raspbx upgrade and all of a sudden everything started to work again.

How do I install asterisk alone? I tried apt-get install asterisk but it says "Unable to locate package asterisk13".

Is this a temporary issue or has the package name changed?

    Thanks.

I have the same issue as H Eng.

Moved to new topic as this thread is rather old
