VERY VERY new to Asterisk, and still not an expert on Rpi.
I’ve bought an Rpi 3 just to try RasPBX, and I must say, I’m really happy.
I have an annoying issue, noticeable only in LAN (Wifi + Mac on RJ45), sometimes I get chopped playback. Whether it’s the « waiting to answer tone », echo test playback, IVR/Annoucement playback, the audio is chopped and I can’t find why and how to solve that issue.
A friend of fine told me that PCMA (used during my tests, using Linphone macOS and on iOS) sends a packet every 20ms. So I tried to capture them, and you can see that a packet is sent sometimes after 8ms, sometimes after 30ms… Based on that, I wonder if the issue isn’t precisely there (screeshot attached).
I also don’t have ANY trouble when calling on 3G or on another wifi (outside my LAN), or via a trunk (chan_dongle and SIP trunk).
So, not knowing Rpi hardware well enough, is it a common issue maybe because of lack of hardware RTC? If it shouldn’t be the problem, do you guys have any advice?
