The newer images from 2016 do receive kernel updates with the regular raspbx-upgrade or apt-get dist-upgrade calls. Eventually you are running an older image from 2015, please call rpi-update to get a newer kernel.

Hi,
I'm not sure if something "wrong" but I have still an old kernel:
I thought, it will be installed throuhg apt-get? Or is it "blocked" by some configuration?
My source.list contains:
deb http://mirrordirector.raspbian.org/raspbian jessie main contrib non-free rpi
My normal rpi has some newer kernel:
4.9.28-v7+ #998 SMP Mon May 15 16:55:39 BST 2017
Any ideas, why no update is aviable?
Thanks
Henning
