Hi,

I'm planning to go on a vacation for a week to the indian countryside where i've come to know that the internet services are good to send/recieve emails only but the cellular services are pretty good. Since my team is online 24x7, I was looking at ways apart from a conference calls ( because of alignment of schedules ).
My plan is to do the following -

  1. Get the raspberry pi and set it up with a usb dongle which supports 3g/GSM calling and put in a SIM here.
  2. Set this up so that I can make a call to this device.
  3. The Pi would then record the call and upload it to my google app engine project. So that my instructions for the group after reviewing daily updates get stored to a database on the cloud, where my team can hear me out either offtopic/live stream(too much to ask, not sure?)

I came across the VoIP setup videos for Asterisk, but i can't get my head around the goals I've set. It would be really helpful if I can get some guidance or set of instructions to set this up and running.
