    Hi folks,

I installed the latest image on a SD card to be used in the newest Pi 3+. Unfortunately, it does not boot, but hangs in the rainbow screen with the green LED blinking 4 times fast and 4 times slower. Useing the same card with a raspbian image works like a charm. Could you please let me know what to do here?

    Thanks for any support.

    Regards
    Fant

I will update the image soon to add support for the Pi 3+. As soon as it is available I'll come back here.

Assuming you have an older older Pi2 B then try the following,
(not tried on RASPBX but does work on earlier normal distribution)

Put Raspbx image on card - boot in older PI then do

    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get upgrade
    sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
reboot then try the card in PI3

(if above does not work then
    sudo rpi-update
    as well after the above)

reboot then try the card in PI3

No guarantee - but could well solve your problem.

Also make sure your power supply is at least 2.5A as the PI3+ takes more current than older PI versions.

Forget rpi-update, tried this morning and get an early EOF in file it was down loading so it aborted.

Older Pi may have to be PI3 not any earlier version.

    Please try this new image:
    http://www.raspberry-asterisk.org/download/raspbx-04-04-2018.zip.torrent

It is only available through torrent for today, and currently uploading. Please let me know if it finally works on your PI3+. If everything is fine I'll publish it on the website.

Hi, any news on this? I've also got a new Raspi 3B+ and the official image fails to boot with a blink code. The normal Raspi image works fine. I can't download torrent stuff, can you please update the file for an HTTP or FTP download?

Sorry, I didn't notice the download link was already updated. Works now.

    Yes, I can confirm that raspbx-04-04-2018.zip works on a RaPi 3 B+
Looks like its using 32 bit OS for Arm v7 processor.
