Compiling chan_dongle with own modifications

Hi there!

I need to compile this module with my own modifications.
I have already tried "apt-get source asterisk11-chandongle".

Unfortunately, the sources do not seem to be there altough listed in /etc/apt/sources.list
Can you give a hint?

I've just downloaded the sources from here:
https://github.com/jstasiak/asterisk-chan-dongle/archive/master.zip

Then compiled according to the instructions, without modifying any of the sources. The binary has been zipped into a deb package, but there is no source package available, I'm sorry.

What exactly is included in the current compiled version?

Does it include chan-dongle-alphanumeric-pdu.patch posted here?

I'm running into this error:

Error parsing incoming message '+CMGR:...............at possition 45: Unhandled PID value, only SMS supported

The chan-dongle-alphanumeric-pdu.patch is likely going to fix this.

There seem to be at least 3 repositories:

The one from Walter Doekes seems to be the one being maintained today and it also builds on the latest raspbx and seems to work properly too.

Question is still, what exactly is included in the current compiled version (in raspbx)?

I have just updated the asterisk13-chandongle package, using the latest code from
https://github.com/wdoekes/asterisk-chan-dongle

It shows Version 1.1, Revision 43gh=47cg
