I'm not sure if this is a bug or just my particular configuration somehow.
I don't always like to have to log into the Web GUI, especially for things like upgrading modules. So, I'll get an email notification that some modules need to be upgraded, and in past installations, I log in and check the modules needing an upgrade:
fwconsole ma showupgrades
then, if I'm satisfied install the upgrades:
fwconsole ma upgradeall
However, since I've installed the "10-10-2017" version, upgradeall throws a segmentation fault:
#fwconsolemaupgradeallNoreposspecified,using:[standard]fromlastGUIsettingsModule(s)requiringupgrades:certman,motifUpgradingmodule'certman' from 13.0.36.10 to 13.0.36.11Downloadingmodule'certman'ProcessingcertmanVerifyinglocalmoduledownload...RedownloadingDownloading...0/150972[>---------------------------]0%Segmentationfault
However, doing the same sort of upgrades from the GUI works fine.
Since the GUI works fine, this isn't an urgent issue, but it would make things easier for me.

I have been using the fwconsole ma upgradeall command myself many times without problems on the latest stretch builds. Are you working with a Pi 3? I have been using Pi 1 and Pi 2 mainly, maybe it makes a difference.
