Hi sorry, but I'm don't entirely get this concept of weight. Is it the idea that the higer the weight is, the higer the likely hood of being played is? I'm getting a little stuck with the usage: is there any documentation I can lookup, or a similar project?

There isn't much documentation beyond the README, I'm afraid. You're right that the higher the weight, the greater the likelihood the track will be chosen.
The actual calculation works with the square of the weight, so that a track weighted 9 would be 81 times more likely to be played than a track weighted 1.
