How to Linux:

Ubuntu, Fedora and other Unix/Linux

• Download the randomabc121-python-linux_bin.tar.gz (sourceforge.net) file and save it in a folder for example Desktop

• Open terminal

Method one, run the binary file

• Untar
• In terminal go in "bin_linux" directory and type "./randomabc12"

Method two, run python version

• Untar
• Install python from your software installer (Like Ubuntu Software Center in Ubuntu), most Unix os have it already installed.
• Type: python -v
  Check if the version number is 2.x or 3.x

• In terminal go in "python" directory and type "python randomabc12-p2.py" or "python randomabc12-p3.py" according to your python version.

• Follow on screen instructions (see How to use the Program)

• Install MuseScore from your software installer (Like Ubuntu Software Center in Ubuntu)

• Open MuseScore
• In MuseScore go to Plugins -> ABC import
• Select the abc file in Desktop (default name random.abc)
• Now you should see the random score
• Break every 6 measures for better readability (Plugins -> Break Every X Measures) (Optional)
• Print it!
