#1 IDV-based visualization?
I *thought* I saw direct preview visualization of datasets (esp., Netcdf) in ramadda, when I was at AMS a while ago. Now, I can't seem to make that work, either on the laptop with everything installed or on a server.
The server part is easy. The server part is likely easy: I don't have an nVidia board therein, so open-gl is likely to be dicey, plus-minus Mesa.... However, the Laptop has a quaddro boart in it.
What am I loikdl missing
The sticky thing to get this to work is that the machine the server is running on has to have a windowing system or something like xvfb or xvnc to run ramadda with. This is the same requirement as running IDV to generate image products.
If the IDV visualization can work than you'll see a Grid Visualization link in the View or Data menu in RAMADDA.
