I want to process 7 audio signals coming from a heptaphonic guitar pickup. I want to use Rakarrack for each individual signal.
I'm able to open 7 instances of Rakarrack with a small script, each loading with their own bank and this works ok.
There are a couple of things I like to know:
1: Is it possible to assign one instance of Rakarrack as a master and the other instances as slaves, so that I can change the presets by using my computer keyboard (with + and -)?
2: I'm not able to connect the 2th and higher instances with midi, is there a way to do this?
Thanks in advance!
Sorry, you can't do (1) nor (2) currently.
Unless you are doing different processing on each of the outputs, you can use a mixer ahead of Rakarrack to mix down and EQ the pickup outputs into two or four channels in whatever combination you like. This will free a lot more CPU processing power for cpu intense effects like the pitch shifter, vocoder and convolver.
By the way, you should only need 4 instance of Rakarrack for 7 signals because you have two signal paths in each instance.
