Hello friends, I have just install 'Rainbow.Portal.2.0.Alpha.3.1' and get it running. :-) After a quick look to the sources i have some questions: 1) Where are the svn sources and how can i get the latest svn version ? ( Perhaps with write access, there are lots of warnings after compilation ) 2) In the past was lots of discussion about the DAL ( ibatis, ... ) I can't see something similar in the sources are there still plans for a redesign ? 3) What about the rb nextGen version ? I mean : In which rb version is the main development ? Thanks in advance -- Kind regards Uwe Lesta at SBS-Softwaresysteme.de |

I have not been involved in the latest effort but they are making good progress. I believe that they have plans to use ibatis if it is not implemented already. You need to go to the following for more info: http://community.rainbowportal.net/ \ On 5/31/06, Uwe Lesta <le...@sb...> wrote: > > Hello friends, > > I have just install 'Rainbow.Portal.2.0.Alpha.3.1' and get it running. :-) > > After a quick look to the sources i have some questions: > > 1) Where are the svn sources and how can i get the latest svn version ? > ( Perhaps with write access, there are lots of warnings after > compilation ) > > 2) In the past was lots of discussion about the DAL ( ibatis, ... ) > I can't see something similar in the sources are there still plans for > a redesign ? > > > 3) What about the rb nextGen version ? > I mean : In which rb version is the main development ? > > Thanks in advance > > -- > > Kind regards > > Uwe > Lesta at SBS-Softwaresysteme.de > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > All the advantages of Linux Managed Hosting--Without the Cost and Risk! > Fully trained technicians.
