A small frustration. Seems like the code freeze has almost frozen
development in some ways.
I accept the need to stabilize a build but I would like to see progress
Why is module development frozen? New modules can be submitted but why
modules be revised? I was under the impression that the reason for the V1
freeze was to
increase module development activity not to decrease it. Lets face it,
many of the existing modules
are direct ports of the Original IBuySpy modules. Those modules were
barren, often lacking in many
areas and were primarily for example not production use.
I also see some areas of the core that could be improved. Small
improvements in the areas
of usability, interface, performance. Lots of small changes can make a
very large difference.
I guess what I am saying is that going from v1 to v2 is a big step, what
happened to the 1.xx
