I'm in Marc's game. Which is what pointed me in this direction. :) The group from Marc's game has played it a handful of times face to face, and we really enjoy it, but we are a bit slow (taking maybe 8-9 hours to play) and we are kind of tired of driving home as the sun rises... Marc's game is being run in Rails 1.7.12, so it doesn't have a lot of the functionality that exists in the specific_1880 branch. We've had to fake some things and keep track of stock prices that weren't being done correctly. So far we've been able to play, but there's a lot of things being done "by hand" as well. The approach I'm taking so far is to run a parallel game to Marc's from the version in the specific_1880 branch to see how much more can be done there and what the bugs/gaps are. I'm still working through the first stock round, but at least I'm to the point where the privates are sold and the players are re-ordered. It looks like there's been a lot of work already put into 1880, so it would be a shame if we can't finish it off.
