This is something I was considering changing myself.  If I had my way, the letters
"PD" would show in the player-name lines of the Game Status window and nowhere
else, ever (especially not in the map/operating-round window).

Better still would be to replace it with highlighting in some unique color (green?)
so that the Game Status window would never need to change its size, except possibly
when one or more companies are permanently removed from play.
