Hi Stefan, In order to receive replies to the various messages I had posted, I found that I had to subscribe to the Rails-devel mailing list; without that, I could not fulfil the requests for more information on the bugs reported. That's why the email was forwarded to me. It's not without its benefits; that was how I came to see the request for a post-4-trains 18AL save game. I may not be able to participate in the coding, but being able to make small contributions of that nature is something that I *can* do. I have no doubt that the problem was unintentional, but it's a courtesy when sending a multi-megabyte text file to compress it in some manner. I should probably have specified that I was directing the message not at the admins & developers but at the user who was reporting the problem, Stan Smith. Apologies for any confusion. The sort of information you are suggesting adding would certainly have helped me submit the problems I had noticed and provide additional details. I would also suggest that you tell people HOW to save a game in any such info, because you don't need to access the menu system in order to play a game. I am a little surprised that the mail was forwarded, form my (own) experience mails with large attachments are set on hold until the list admin decides what do with it. However I do not know what information Brett receives about the mail before it can pass. Maybe we should add some info on the homepage/wiki how to report bugs, as there is usually no need to send the log file, as the save file is a better tool. Only in very few occasions the log file has additional value, in that case I ask for the log file off-list.
