There hasn't been much discussion about art assets. I don't think we've ever considered things like player portraits or background music. For us, implementing game logic has always taken a higher priority. AI players is something we've discussed, but it's been a low priority. If you're interested in working on the UI, you're welcome to do so. The code is open, and patches are always welcome. The first step is to subscribe to the mailing list, then check the code out of the git repository. ;-) ---Brett.
