Thanks Rick. I don't have that file in 1.4.2 or 1.5.1 then. Could you send me yours and I'll see if that makes a difference? I noticed that i have a file, my.properties with the lines: # Log file properties log4j.appender.F.File=18xx.log log4j.appender.F.append=false but no 18xx.log anywhere.
