I have never been seriously involved in any graphics programming. I just understand Swing to some extent, but please don't ask any deep questions.

Nevertheless Adam had succeeded in raising some interest with me about SVG programming, so I tried to find some usable introductory documentation on how to use Batik. But I couldn't find anything.  So I quit.
