Stefan Frey has clarified this omission in a message sent 2010-08-28 17:15 to this list, as follows: "Thus the only remaining fully implemented game without noMapMode is 1856. I know which issues have to be considered (CGR merger and tokens and special tokens), but this will have to wait for the next release." In other words, 1856 has complexities that preclude releasing a NoMap mode without further development work. I can't tell when (if ever) that will happen - Stefan doesn't seems to be active these days.
