I just was investigating, and I noticed that the game you attached was saved
with version 1.2.2, which is pretty aged by now. I suspect the problem was
caused by a difference in handling players who have previously passed in an
auction in later turns: in your saved game a 'pass' was recorded for each
such player, whereas the new version just skips such players. So the new
version got completely confused who's turn it was in the initial round.
 
It looks like that the acting player isn't checked in this (or perhaps any)
initial round. That needs to be fixed.

Hi again 

OK, resolved the issue. I was trying to share v1.3 and v1.4 in the same
folder and I was getting a conflict. I'm going to have to split them off
more.
