This is with the latest release, version 1.1.3. I ran a four player game of 1835. Most features seemed to work until the stock round when the Ba presidency was purchased; then enough went wrong that I gave up on it. Specific problems: - It would be nice if game status window showed how much income a player's privates produce each turn. The rest of the info to calculate your income is there, but that is missing. - Three letter abbrevs for companies are confusing for 1835. Please use two as the physical game does. - The announced feature that you're told what size certificate you will be buying/selling doesn't yet happen. - I was president of By and owned Nurnberg-Furth. However, I was not allowed to lay the NF token until after the tile-laying phase of By's first turn. (There are conflicting rulings about whether that behavior is correct, but most people play that the token may be placed first.) - I also owned Pfalz. As a result, I was offered a free tile lay in the Pfalz hex every time it was By's turn. This should not happen in yellow phase since the hex is preprinted yellow. - I was charged nothing when By placed a token in Dresden. - Selling shares caused the price to fall one space per share as in 1830. (Should be only one space total per sale.) - Once the Ba presidency had been purchased, the next player attempted to buy a Pr share from IPO. This produced an error message: "<player> can't buy 2 shares of Pru from IPO; Pru hasn't formed yet." WRONG!!! |
