Hmmm... Looks like you've covered everything I can think of. I've got no complaint with the design. I suspect that some of our existing Hex code may even already store some of the data you're mentioning. I think that it'll work for now, but when we get to implementing the bigger games like 1844, we can use their implementation to examine improvements in the route finding algorithm. Without a use case to test against, it may be difficult to really benchmark anything more involved than brute-forcing our way down the connectivity tree. ---Brett |
