As far as I can see we are still in the process of sorting out
the basics of how to build this program. The principles around
the back-end ("model") are slowly getting some shape.
The main missing aspect IMO is how the
interface between View (UI) and model will look like.

Given what we already have I would aim for a working subsystem
around the stock market as a first goal. It seems, though, that
the front-end (View) and back-end (Model) do not progress at 
the same speed right now. Don't know what we can do about that.

On milestones: I think it's too early to set any time goals,
if possible at all in any stage. 
It's a free-time job, the team is small, and the family needs
some attention too every now and then....
Right now it's fun, and I would like to keep it like that!
