Following instructions. Raider quit, complaining that the system was not in single-user mode. Switched to single user and tried again ("raider -R1 sda sdb") but it quit with the complaint that sda is busy. What should I try next?

Hi, my main system drive is located on /dev/sde on LVM partition. Is it possible to create a raid in such configuration? Raider returns error message. raider -R1 /dev/sde /dev/sda :: raider version 0.13.2 started :: Option: Single disk to RAID 1 (MIRRORING) :: FATAL ERROR: /dev/sde is not the system disk! :: The first device selected must be the system disk!

Hello -- Raider looks great. I have a dumb multi-os install question: Like most, I customarily have multiple linux versions available via multi-boot. When installing onto a "clean" drive, I create 6 partitions. 4 each, ~20GB root partitions ( /, /Spare_OS1, /Spare_OS2, /Spare_OS3) to accomodate four linux versions, a swap parition, and one big /home parition using the remaining space. I then run the first install using the / root and /home partitions. When a newer version of linux comes out, I install...

Thanks for an EXCELLENT tool. I used Raider to install a RAID 1 system for Linux Mint 18.3, Cinnamon. Which worked great, by the way. I inadvertantly screwed up the fstab file, and got an unloadable system. After I unplugged one of the disk drives, and finally remembered the command to invoke the VI editor, I fixed fstab, got the system up and running again, resynced the RAID volume and swap partitions, and all seems well... EXCEPT the GRUB screen no longer comes up at boot up. I tried: update-grub...
