In my RD setup, some (8 out of many thousands) vouchers are showing "Time Used" more than a 100% (in one instance, 466%).
The profile of the voucher in question has two profile components, defined as follows
Component 1:
Simultaneous-Use (Check attr), value 1
Fall-Through (Reply attr), value Yes
Component 2:
Rd-Total-Time (Check attr), value 1800 (=> 30 minutes)
Rd-Cap-Type-Time (Check attr), value hard
Rd-Reset-Type-Time (Check attr), value never
Fall-Through (Reply attr), value Yes
I doubt if the problem is with the profile or profile components since the rules are enforced in almost all other vouchers generated using this profile with the exception of those few vouchers.
When I checked the accounting data of the said voucher, I see that the session was one continuous 2 hours and 21 minutes (where it should just have cut out at 30 minutes)
Can anyone please explain why this would be happening and what I need to do to make sure it doesn't happen any longer?
Thanks!

Speculation on my part, but maybe RADIUSdesk never received an "Accounting Stop" packet from the NAS for that session? That could happen if the NAS is hard-booted, with the session then only timeing out according to the setting configured for the NAS inside RADIUSdesk?

If it were a matter of the session timing out, then the excess would only be a maximum of 5 minutes as that is my timeout time, but in one instance, there is an overuse in excess of an hour. So, I don't think it's a matter of the NAS being hard booted.
