      Just check and paste the content of /var/log/httpd/errors.log if running
      apache on RHEL/CentOS or /var/log/apache2/errors.log if running Ubuntu. For
      Nginx, check /var/log/nginx/errors.log and /var/log/php5-fpm.log

    php5-fpm.log come permission denied and in the nginx/Errors.log is this:

      Looks like you are having some permission errors. I will suggest you make
      this directory writable /usr/share/nginx/www/cakephp-2.3.5/rd_cake/tmp/
      i.e. chmod -R 777 /usr/share/nginx/www/cakephp-2.3.5/rd_cake/tmp/ or make
      the web server user own the directory chown -R www-data /usr/
      share/nginx/www/cakephp-2.3.5/rd_cake/tmp/

    I wonder if it is not one of the cron scripts messing up the rights.

    People had similar complaints before and I just could not figure out why.

    Joyex, are you using the Beta4.1 Virtual Machine?

    Hi Dirk,

    i have the exact same problem on Beta4.1 Virtual Machine?
    When trying to logon all i get is blank screen with radiusdesk logo on bootom right corner.
    When i did:

    sudo chmod -R 777 /usr/share/nginx/www/cakephp-2.3.5/rd_cake/tmp/

    the login screen came back.

    I also noticed this on one machine but not another machine, I cleared the cache on the troubled machine and that fixed it. In my case permissions were set correctly.

    That seems to be a rewrite problem since Nginx is suppose to handle the routing / rewriting of these.

    Can you confirm your steps in setting up Nginx; especially this part:

      Hi Dirk,
      i tried one more time on localhost using VM.I followed exactly all the steps .I run a test before install the viewer component
      and i got this error:

      i checked that mysql is running .I don't know what to do to fix the problem.Could you propose me any solution?
