A typical radioGTS configuration would consist in a radio base, whose mic input and speaker output are connected to the radioGTS server sound card In/Out, and serveral client radios, each connected to the radioGTS client audio In/Out.

-The radioGTS server will be connected through a network interface to the OpenGTS system, and will communicate with it through OpenDmtp packets. It will work as a gateway, between the OpenGTS system and the radioGTS clients, polling its clients throguh radio packets, and then translating those responses into OpenDmtp packets.

+The radioGTS project uses the sound card, for modulating and demodulating AFSK signals, to communicate one or more clients with a server. It makes use of the OpenDmtp protocol, that is the default interface with OpenGTS tracking system, and it is designed to run in any Linux system that has a sound card with input an output interfaces.
