Hi, I would like to know (if I understand the project goal correctly), if it is possible to do such configuration : - I have a server which is always connected to Internet through a xDSL link. This server is under Debian. I want to run Rabbit on this server. - I have a pocket pc with a GPRS connection (40kbits/s), which I configure to connect to the proxy on the server. If I understand correctly, whenever I browse the internet via the pocket pc, it will automatically download a compressed version of each website, with both pictures and text compressed. The real website is downloaded on the server (with, let's say it is 100kbytes of data), and the website I'm browsing on the pocket pc is downloaded compressed (let's say it is 30kbytes of data), so I can save some bandwidth from my GPRS account. Please tell me if I'm wrong. Sincerely, Cyril |
