So yes, other are also having trouble with thoose services. The easy way for you is to not route thoose requests through rabbit. (You requires a high level router for that). If the users are using IE and the resources are using NTLM you can not use rabbit. IE will not try to establish NTLM connections over any proxy (what I can see). Note however that if you use mozilla or any other browser, that tries to use NTLM even though there is a proxy in the way, it will work. Windows update is IE only what I know. I am not sure about norton, I do not use it (I am on linux/unix system almost all of the time). If it is not NTLM, then I would like to get network traces so I can see what happens. Relevant log entries are also interesting. /robo |
