Currently I am running RabbIT 2.0.29 on a Fedora Core 1 box with Java =
1.4.2.  When I point a web browser to the proxy server from the =
Preferences/Settings page everything seems to work very well.  I was =
able to do quite a bit of testing and was happy with the results.  I =
then decided to put it into a production environment where I have had =
problems ever since.

I asked the NetAdmin to put a route in place to force all traffic from a =
certain ip range to go to the Rabbit box.  It seems like it is getting =
there but never gets processed and when I look at the error logs I see =
this:

[08/Mar/2004:16:19:32 GMT][INFO][IP Address disconnected when reading =
header java.io.IOExcaption: Couldnt read requestline, connection must be =
closed]

I am not sure what is going wrong.  I have tried running the server on =
different ports, taking down the firewall, just about everything that I =
could think of.  Any help is much appreciated.

On another note...I have not seen a formal manual/reference for RabbIT2 =
such as that of squid-cache.  Would it interest anyone if I were to put =
together something similar to that of the squid-cache manual?  I am not =
sure how many users there are or if it would be worthwhile, but if there =
is interest in it I may put it together.  Please email me at =
