Segmentation fault on Fedora 10

Hello-
I'm trying to debug a problem running qwtplot3d on Fedora 10.  I downloaded the source and am experimenting with two of the sample programs in the examples directory--mesh2 and simpleplot.  They compile and link just fine using Qt 3.3, but running the executable causes a segmentation fault.
This does not happen on Fedora 7.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks.
