qvt-java launched

Work on qvt-java, an opensource implementation of the Query, View, Transformation standard as specified by the OMG has started. We welcome new developers and interested parties to join the development team.

qvt-java aims to implement a textual parser for the qvt language first before commencing to implement the graphical language which is standardized as well. Work on producing the relevant grammars has started and is ongoing. Work to create the MDR repository has started and is ongoing.

QVT will be an important tool to create platform independent and reusable model to model transformations within MDA tools.
