    I am also having the problem with the upload button not
    being usable. Everything else is fine. If anyone knows what
    to do to get it to activate, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance.

    File upload feature check the file_uploads config var on the
    server running Quix -> if(get_cfg_var("file_uploads")) {}

    If the config var is set to Off, you won't be able to upload
    files. Just run a phpinfo() on your server and you'll see if
    upload is allowed or not.

    I have the same problem: version 2.3 and upload button in
    grey, so that I'm not allowed to upload files.

    I've already checked the "file_uploads" var on the server
    and it's set to "on".

    Could you please help?

    You could try changing
    if (get_cfg_var("file_uploads"))
    to
    if (ini_get ('file_uploads') == '1')

    If that doesn't help, and you're sure you should be able to
    upload files,
    you could change it to
    if (true)
    which tells QuiXplorer that file uploads are available
    regardless of the current PHP configuration.

    Following your suggestion I changed
    if (get_cfg_var("file_uploads"))
    to
    if (ini_get ('file_uploads') == '1')

    The upload button is not active and works properly.

    Thank you very much Felix for your support!

    Hi,

    I'm sorry but were do I change that?

    You could try changing
    if (get_cfg_var("file_uploads"))
    to
    if (ini_get ('file_uploads') == '1')

    In .include/fun_list.php (line 283).

    Why don't you all read the above comments. Change the
    appropriate line in fun_list.php and everything works fine.
    This is a bug and needs to be fixed in the next version.
