#1 PloneSiteMaps chages current directory

After installing qPloneSiteMaps, our plone (2.05) site stopped working
because the installation changes the site's perception of what the
current direcotyr is. The site accesses extrenal programs in a
$siteroot/bin directory, those programs and/or files files accessed via a
relative path will fail after installatkion of PloneSiteMaps.
Also, in order to become really usefulm the product docs could include
hits on how to hide the sitemap files from the 'recent portlet'.
