#5 Modified OPTI

Hi,

I've been using QuickType for a few days using the
OPTI layout and I must
say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PROGRAM! I've read the
review on PalmGear and
several users comment abt the lack of numbers on the
layout. However, I
realise that numbers can be easily inputted using the
swipe feature that is
already built-in! I've come out with a layout using
Mark's OPTI layout as a
starting point and made the following changes:

- changed the resolution to 154 x 76 to better fit
Palm V
- added numbers to the layout
- added a few more common punctuations
- colour-coded the layout

I've configured the down-swipe as the way to input
numbers, though users can
easily change it to watever they desire. The only
drawback is that users
will lose the ability to use "quick words" from the
down-swipe, but I guess
the loss is not much compared to the ability to
quickly enter numbers. :)

Also, if you have any problems printing the layout, I
suggest using
Photoshop to print at 109 dpi. The size is perfect on
my Palm Vx. :)
